I’m a graphic designer living and working in sunny Fremantle. I have grown up with influences from both my asian heritage and modern australia. My early working life was spent in the financial sector, but this never resonated well with me and during my 20s it became clear that I really loved being creative, interacting with people (and dogs!) and making an ethical contribution to our wonderful natural planet. My work spans corporate branding, marketing collateral, logo and packaging design, and my client base is broad – from lawyers to food producers, artists and retailers.
In 2014 I spent a year in Barcelona working as a freelance designer at studio Artimana and exploring traditional crafts such as hand weaving, screen printing and stamp making. When I was not travelling or freelancing I spent time at Print Workers Barcelona, a membership based co-working space making photographic screen prints and practising speaking spanish. A very special year indeed.
Building strong relationships with colleagues and client, creating a foundation for successful designs and above all making my clients happy! An affirmation of my skills and the positive contribution I can make to others who are starting out in their enterprises. Today I run my freelance business from my home studio and co-working space, fSpace in Fremantle. I enjoy the flexibility to take on interesting projects as they arise and finding creative solutions in print, web, and lately floral.
